Technical Studies and Upgrades

Schat-Harding has the engineering capacity and knowledge to carry out technical studies and to arrange audit reports on all products in our range of brands for lifeboats, release gear, davits and winches.

What are the benefits of using Schat-Harding for technical studies and upgrades?

• Third party verification on all documents and calculations
• Inspections on vessels conducted by Schat-Harding's own engineering team

Technical studies are built on our in-house engineering capability, including feasibility studies for product upgrades, risk analysis and evacuation studies.  Studies can also be arranged for third party verification by any authorized company such as DNV, Lloyd’s Register and other classification societies.

Audit reports are on-board inspections for system safety functionality, including reports on safety status with recommendations.
